In Raising Big Blue scientists discover a buried skeleton of a blue whale and attempt to create a complete skeleton for display in a prominent museum. But it’s not as simple as it seems: first they need to uncover the buried whale, develop a method to clean the appalling stench from the bones and put then all the pieces together.
