(4 x 1-hour documentary series)
Five individuals experience the challenges of life as stampeders of the 1897 Gold Rush to the Klondike. The team of 4 men and one woman will be outfitted with only the clothing, tools and foods of the time period. Starting in Skagway, Alaska, they will travel the 53-kilometre Chilkoot Trail, which includes the notorious 35-degree grade incline to the Chilkoot Pass.
Upon completion of the Trail, the team will travel in hand made wooden boats 800 kilometres up the Yukon River to the town of Dawson City where they will prospect and explore the historic legends of the Klondike.
