Long Bay seems pretty slow and pretty predictable…but you can’t judge a book by its cover – and you can’t judge Long Bay by its surface! 

Men with Brooms follows four young men brought together by a love of curling.  There’s Gary (Brendan Gall), the lovable schlub and the team’s skip – who’s grappling with his affections for the new girl in town, April (Siobhan Murphy); Matt (William Vaughn), Gary’s dim-witted but lovable sidekick; Pramesh (Anand Rajaram) – who has plenty to balance off the ice between his marriage to Rani (Glenda Braganza), their two daughters and the management of the local donut shop; and Bill (Joel Keller) the manager of the curling rink, who clashes frequently with his lone employee, the sassy (and sexy) Tannis. 

Men with Brooms shows us that the trivial stuff of small-town life is actually a grand canvas of universal human experience.
