For Immediate Release
Toronto, CANADA – February 16, 2011 – Frantic Films announces their award-winning food series Pitchin’ In (13 x 30’), hosted by renowned Chef Lynn Crawford, has been renewed for a third season on Food Network Canada. Season two of the series premiered on Food Network Canada on January 3 this year and currently airs Mondays at 10pm ET/11pm PT.
“We are delighted with the continued success of Pitchin’ In on Food Network Canada,” said Jamie Brown, CEO & Executive Producer, Frantic Films. “Lynn Crawford’s honest passion for diving into the life of the true artisans who provide the best ingredients North America has to offer, continues to resonate with food lovers.”
Whether competing against Bobby Flay in Iron Chef America, hosting Food Network’s Restaurant Makeover, or having worked as executive chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City, Chef Lynn Crawford receives tremendous media attention wherever she goes.
In Pitchin’ In, Lynn has left behind her high profile position at the Four Seasons Hotel to hit the road for the ultimate culinary adventure. Travelling to far-flung locations across North America, she does whatever it takes to get to the best and freshest ingredients, and has a rollicking good time along the way. Throughout her journey, she’ll take on any challenge, relying on locals to teach her their trade in exchange for her cooking them a fabulous meal with their product. Season one of Pitchin’ In won the 2010 Banff World Television Award for Lifestyle & Information programming. Season two currently airs Mondays at 10 pm ET/11 pm PT on Food Network Canada.
