This series offers tough love solutions to those in financial crisis. In each episode we’ll meet a family in desperate need of help. Some of the families are on the verge of bancruptcy, hounded by creditors or facing eviction, others are just getting by, but in the midst of a personal meltdown or relationship breakdown because of money issues.  With the sensitivity of a therapist and the toughness of a CFO, Gail takes control of the family's finances for one month.  She devises a strict budget and enforces dramatic changes and at the end of the month, we see if the couple gets back on track for a more solid financial future.
