Peak to Peak will take you deep inside the struggles to build the world’s highest, longest, and most technically challenging ski lift. For more than a decade, the owners of the ski resort at Whistler, British Columbia dreamed of tying their two mountain peaks together.

Now, the race is on to do it on time and on budget. In less than a year the Peak to Peak Gondola must be completed in time to carry passengers during 2010 Winter Olympics. And this is no easy build. The Gondola is an entirely new design and this is the first attempt at spawning a deep, wide and notoriously windy valley.
